How to Apply
Once you have checked that your business is eligible for a Green Shoots Plus grant, you are ready to complete our Expression of Interest form.
The form is a key part of the application process so that we can check that your business proposal meets all of the criteria we're looking for. Mainly that:
- Your business is eligible to apply
- Your proposal meets the Green Shoots Plus objectives (to create new jobs and promote growth in the Black Country)
- There are funds available to support your investment proposal
The form asks for basic information about your business and your proposal for growth. You'll need to make sure that you have the following information to hand before you start:
- Company registration number (if applicable)
- Number of employees
- Company turnover
- The proposal for your capital project
- Estimation of the number of jobs to be created and safeguarded
- Amount of investment required (up to 30% depending on your application and the strength of your proposal)
- Forecast of total project cost
If your Expression of Interest meets all of the required criteria, you will be contacted by an advisor who will offer advice for completing the full application form.
